“Yellow Bands Tall Trees” (#816) is third of five (so far) in the “Energy Rising” series of work.

The first piece (#812) kept morphing and redefining itself for the last five years, as I explored the idea of life energies lifting up. It was only as the work progressed, I became aware of the reference to the forest.

The second “Joyous”(#815), was a much more deliberate exploration of the interconnectedness of life forces in the forest.

The following painting, “Yellow Bands, Tall Trees” (#816) is a move to explore this idea in a smaller canvas, hopefully simplifying the concept.
